Join the City of Whiting for Paint the Town Pink 2019 in partnership with the Pink Ribbon Society. The entire month of May, community & businesses will once again come together for a great cause, helping raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer research.

Farmers Market 

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Rain or Shine | Whiting City Hall • 1443 119th Street
PTTP will participate in Whiting’s Farmers Market in front of Whiting City Hall featuring Pink Lemonade & Pink Cupcakes. All proceeds will go to the Pink Ribbon Society.

Paint the Town Pink @ Whiting’s Cruise Night

5 p.m. – 9 p.m. | 119th Street, Downtown Whiting
Come out to Whiting’s Cruise Night between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. featuring cars 1999 and older only. While in town, visit the PTTP Booth in front Winey Beach Cafe. Enjoy Pink Lemonade & Pink Cupcakes, a Pink Raffle, T-shirts, and more! All proceeds will go to the Pink Ribbon Society.

Battin’ For Boobies Softball Game 

Tournament begins at 10 a.m. | Whiting Little League Field • Sponsored by FOP Lodge#68
Support this year’s softball teams as they battle it out to raise money for Breast Cancer research. Spectators and fans are welcome to come cheer them on for free, participate in a Pink Raffle, and more!

Friday, May 31st
5k Glow Fun Run / Walk

6:30 p.m. Registration & Check-in | 7:30 p.m. Warm-up Zumba | Approx. 8 p.m. Start Time
Location: Whiting Lakefront Park | $35/per person Registration includes 5k T-Shirt & Glow Accessories! Get ready to have fun at this year’s PTTP glow-in-the-dark 5k! Participants are free to run OR walk! Registration and check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. with a quick Zumba warm up class at 7:30 p.m. Come early to enjoy beautiful Whiting Lakefront Park and music by DJ Angel.
